The tiles saga appears to be over. Praise God! We arrived home yesterday to find the last tile laid and grouted. And a thin layer of tiling dust – or is that grout dust? – over EVERYTHING 🙁
(And in some places, that word ‘thin’ is not as accurate as I’d like it to have been!)
Cue entrance of cleaning fairy at this point… sadly, no. It appears that she gets lost in the way to my place. Which meant that the floor cleaning and the furniture moving got done by me. And the unpacking. And the dinner making. And the homework supervision. Ha! Yeah, right. That didn’t happen. Meaning two lots of homework for all three cherubs tomorrow night. Oh well.
On the upside, my house is on the way to looking amazing!!!
